If you have a Smartphone and drive a car, downloading the WilcoHess app is a must! Not only is it free to download, but it comes with useful information and you will receive goodies as a thank-you for downloading it. I am a fan of WilcoHess because they partnered with Lowes Foods to offer the bonus gas rewards program and as a result I have saved a ton of money on gas there.
The new app features quick access to the nearest WilcoHess gas station, showing you the current prices on gas, a map with the cheapest gas prices and directions to the nearest WilcoHess. This feature comes in handy if you are low on gas while driving and need to know how far you are from the nearest station.
In addition, the app has a section called “My wallet” where you can check for deals on items inside of WilcoHess. Currently they are offering a free Starbucks iced coffee when you download the app and register. My husband did it yesterday and received a free Vitamin Water drink as well!
As a bonus, if you click on “boosts available” within the “my wallet” section of the app, you will see numbered buttons to click on for additional freebies. When prompted, you must enter the code “newapp” and you will earn a free country harvest breakfast sandwich, a free 22 oz. fountain drink and a free medium hot or iced coffee, any brand. Simply have the cashier scan your phone and you will receive the free items. You will also have a chance to earn additional freebies by completing tasks inside of WilcoHess stores such as scanning posters.
