SOUTHPORT — Elizabeth “Betty” Louise Stocks, 72, of Ash, NC passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at Grand Strand Medical Center following an extended illness.
Betty was born in Southport, NC on January 18, 1954, and was a daughter of the late Dudley P. and Louise Lewis. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased in death by her brother, DeYonn Lewis.
Betty was a member of Bethel Primitive Baptist Church, Calabash, NC. Betty enjoyed spending time with Chloe, the family dog, and loved her family dearly.
Survivors include her two daughters, Delena Stout and fiancé Ike Williamson, Jenny J. Stout and grandson Elijah D. Stout.
A time of visitation with the family will be from 2:00 until 3:00 PM on Sunday, August 2, 2026, in the Bethel Primitive Baptist Church, 1010 Hickman Road, NW, Calabash, NC
Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM in the church with Elder Michael Gowens officiating.
Burial will follow in the Benton Cemetery.
