WILMINGTON — Dwayne L. “Tieky” Hankins, Sr., age 50, of Greensboro, NC (formerly of Wilmington) passed away Thursday, July 16, 2026.
A public viewing took place Friday, July 31, 2026 at Davis Funeral Home – Wilmington, 901 South 5th Avenue, Wilmington, NC 28401.
A celebration of Dwayne’s life followed on Saturday, August 1, 2026.
Interment will follow at Calvary Memorial Cemetery.
His love and memories will remain in the hearts of his children, Kayla Mitchell (Bobby Cole), Ike Mitchell and Dwayne L. Hankins, Jr.and Zion Craig all of Greensboro, NC; siblings, Walter Hankins and Tangela Vaught both of Wilmington, NC, two grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
