WILMINGTON — Sue Lemon Irving, age 81, of Wilmington, passed away Friday, May 15, 2026.
A celebration of Mrs. Irving’s life took place Friday, May 22, 2026 at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 701 S.12th St., Wilmington, NC 28401.
Interment followed at Calvary Memorial Cemetery.
Her love and memories will remain in the hearts of her children, Michelle Irving (Robert Jacobs) of Barboursville, VA, Dr. Sharon Irving Byrdsong (Brinson) of Chesapeake, VA, Lynn Michael Irving of Kernersville, NC, and Brian Keith Irving of Little Rock, AK; siblings, Annette Jackson of Baltimore, MD, Willie Felder (Percys) of Hanover, MD, Ruby Mae Davis (Omar) of Hartsville, SC, Richard Flowers of Wilmington, NC and Dora Fulton of Covington, GA, five grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
