WILMINGTON — Heaven gained an angel on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, as Dorian Gold Fulcher, of Wilmington, was called home to be with God.
Dorian was born on August 1, 1957, in Manhattan, New York, the daughter of the late Gordon Kenneth Gold and the late Jane Casey Gold.
Dorian had a forever-young, fun-spirited soul that brought energy and laughter wherever she went. She had a passion for staying active and strong, and she truly enjoyed lifting weights—a reflection of both her physical and inner strength.
She had a special talent at the pool table, earning a reputation as a bit of a “pool shark,” always ready for a friendly game and a good laugh. She also had a well-known sweet tooth, especially when it came to chocolate cake. Dorian never met an animal she didn’t love, and her compassion for them was just one of the many ways her kind heart showed.
Dorian is survived by the father of her children, Mike Fulcher; her son, Sam Fulcher (Crystal Parker); her daughters, Christine Fulcher, Terra Fulcher, and Jennifer Lindsey Fulcher; her grandchildren, Mariah Nixon and Jacob Barr; her brother, Jeff Gold; her sister, Tracy Gold; and her beloved dog, Priscilla.
Dorian will be remembered for her strength, her warmth, and the vibrant, youthful spirit that never faded. She will be deeply missed and forever loved by all who knew her.
Shared memories and condolences may be sent to the family here.
