WILMINGTON — Alice Emily Campbell, 80, of Wilmington, NC, passed away on March 30, 2026. Emily was born October 15, 1945, in Raleigh, NC, to Tommie W. and Lela Jones Campbell.
She is survived by her partner, Rhonda Frazee; her sister, Annette Campbell (Roy); her brother, Curtis Campbell (Lori); her nieces and nephews, as well as grandnieces and a grandnephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Marie Campbell Bahl; and by her former partner Rosalie Bryant.
Emily was a proud UNC Greensboro graduate in Education and spent the majority of her teaching career in Mecklenburg County NC as an elementary PE teacher. She brought calm to those around her, had a keen sense of humor especially in the company of close friends and family, and held a positive attitude until the end.
