LELAND — Gwendolyn “Pokey” Bryant, age 68, of Leland, NC passed away Sunday, January 4, 2026.
A celebration of Ms. Bryant’s life was conducted at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 11, 2026 at Davis Funeral Home – Wilmington, 901 South 5th Avenue, Wilmington, NC 28401.
Her love and memories will remain in the hearts of children, Khadijah Dawson of Leland, NC, Clarence Dawson (fiancé, J’Quanna Dalton) of Navassa, NC and Jeremiah Robinson of Leland, NC; siblings, Priscialla Williams of Navassa, NC and Monica B. Shepard (Shannon) of Wilmington, NC, two grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
