WILMINGTON — Jane Carol Anglin, born December 14, 1955, in Radford, Virginia, was the beloved daughter of the late Arko David Anglin and Margaret Corn Newman.
She is survived by her husband, Terry L. Love of Wilmington, NC; her brother, Michael Lee Newman, and sister-in-law, Kathy Lewis Newman, of Winston-Salem, NC; and her nephew, Justin Lee Newman, of High Point, NC. She is also fondly remembered by cherished in-laws Farrell Kennedy, Brendy Love Kennedy, and Grant Kennedy of Cary, NC.
Growing up in Stuart, VA, Jane graduated from Patrick County High School and New River Community College before building a meaningful career in property management while living in Northern Virginia. She later retired to Wilmington, NC, where she found great joy in the coastal community she loved.
Jane embraced life with warmth, gratitude, and a generous spirit. She delighted in walking the beach and searching for seashells, gathering with friends for dinner club, and tending her yard—especially the flowers she lovingly nurtured with her remarkable green thumb. Her deep love for animals was reflected in the devoted care she gave to her dogs: Georgie, Chloe, Bernie, and Bailey. Jane also treasured decorating and celebrating the holidays, and she held a special affection for her favorite film, It’s a Wonderful Life. She often lived by the sentiment that inspired her: “Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.” Now, she rests in the arms of her Savior.
A celebration of Jane’s life for close family and friends will be held this spring.
For those who wish to honor her memory, contributions may be made to Lower Cape Fear LifeCare in Wilmington, NC.
