Monday, Dec. 15
The Kure Beach Town Council will meet at 6 p.m. in Council Chambers of Town Hall. Meetings are uploaded here. The agenda includes a resolution on the monitoring and mitigation of impacts on the Wilmington Harbor 403 Project, the swearing in of two new commissioners and the mayor, and council appointments to town committees and boards
The Belville Board of Commissioners will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the NC Highway Patrol Training Room at 63 River Rd. The agenda includes the swearing in of the mayor and two commissioners, including the Mayor Pro Tem.
The New Hanover County Board of Commissioners will meet at 4 p.m. in the NHC Courthouse, 23 N. Third St. Meetings are livestreamed here. The agenda includes:
- Consideration of a lease agreement with LINC
- Consideration to purchase property on the western bank
Tuesday, Dec. 16
The New Hanover County Board of Education will hold an agenda review at 2 p.m. in the Board of Education Center, 1805 S. 13th St. Meetings are livestreamed here. The agenda can be viewed here.
The Belville ABC Board will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the Brunswick Community College, Leland Center, Room 204, 2045 Enterprise Dr.
The Pender County Board of Elections will meet at 6 p.m. at the Pender County Board of Elections Building, 305 S. Walker St. in Burgaw. An agenda was not posted by press.
A Cape Fear Public Transportation Authority Board of Directors workshop will be held to discuss proposed adjustments to several routes will be held from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Skyline Center, 929 N Front St. in Azalea Room 154H. The meeting is open to the public, but comments will not be heard and workshop participation is limited to the board and staff. Learn more about the proposed changes on the project page.
Wednesday, Dec. 17
The State Board of Elections will hold an in-person meeting at 9 a.m. at the Dobbs Building in downtown Raleigh, though it can be streamed online here. The agenda includes the hearing of multiple election protests, a notice of settlement in Wasserberg, et al. v. NC State Board of Elections and designation of a rulemaking coordinator.
The New Hanover County Board of Elections will meet at 8:30 a.m. in Multipurpose Room 137, 230 Government Center Dr. The purpose of the meeting is to enter into closed session to conduct personnel matters in accordance with North Carolina General Statute § 143-318.11(a)(6), and conduct other business as necessary.
The Topsail Beach Planning Board will meet at 10 a.m. in the Topsail Beach Town Hall. The agenda includes consideration of the 2026 meeting schedule. The meeting will livestream here.
Thursday, Dec. 18
The Oak Island Planning Board will meet at 9 a.m. in Council Chambers of Town Hall. Meetings are uploaded and streamed here. The agenda includes proposed text amendments to the UDO, economic development incentives in North Carolina, and walkable cities.
The Wrightsville Beach Board of Adjustment will meet at 5 p.m. in Council Chambers of Town Hall, 321 Causeway Drive. Meetings are uploaded here. An agenda was not available.
The Navassa Town Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the community center. An agenda was not posted by press.
The Burgaw Planning Board will meet at 5:30 p.m. in the Burgaw Town Center, 108 East Wilmington Street. An agenda was not posted by press.
The Leland Town Council will meet at 6 p.m. in the Leland Cultural Arts Center. The agenda includes the swearing-in ceremony for new council members Frank Pendleton and Leland Hyer. Also, consideration of a master land use plan amendment for the 955-acre Terrapin planned development.
The Wilmington Board of Adjustment will meet at 1 p.m. in city hall, 929 N. Front St. Meetings are livestreamed here. The agenda includes:
- 100 River Rock Way: Variance to Legacy City Code Section 18-556 vision clearance standards to allow the existing wall to remain as built.
- 5301 Wrightsville Ave.: Variance to City Code Sections 18-153 and 18-408 for the construction of a rehabilitation hospital on the Wrightsville Avenue Corridor
Friday, Dec. 19
The Surf City Town Council will meet at 9 a.m. in the Surf City Municipal Complex for a work session. The agenda includes an update on the facilities expansion project and annexation of about 250 acres of property currently in Onslow County. The meeting will livestream here.
