CASTLE HAYNE — Mary Elizabeth Canty, age 94, of Castle Hayne, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2025.
A celebration of Mrs. Canty’s life was conducted at 12:00 PM on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 812 Harnett St., Wilmington, NC 28401.
Interment followed at Calvary Memorial Cemetery.
Her love and memories will remain in the hearts of her children, Joseph Canty Jr. (Victoria) of Wilmington, NC, Angela Marie Tindall (Gregory, Sr.) of Jacksonville, FL, Sharon Denise Jones (Avery) of Fayetteville, GA and Rodney Jeffrey Canty (Yolonda) of Fredericksburg, VA, 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
