SOUTHPORT — Margaret Elizabeth Sterling (DeNoie), 89, of Wethersfield, CT, passed away on November 22, 2025 in Southport, NC.
Mrs. Sterling was born in Lynbrook, NY to Roland and Irene DeNoie on July 6, 1936. She married William Franklin Sterling, Jr. on October 26, 1956 in Wethersfield, CT. She had a lengthy career as a real estate broker in Wethersfield, CT, training and mentoring many real estate agents in the area.
She is preceded in death by her parents Roland and Irene DeNoie and her husband William F. Sterling, Jr. in 1983.
Survivors include her sister Nancy Gregson; three children, Debra Waggoner, Susan Keck and William Sterling III; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service for family and friends will be announced in the future.
