WILMINGTON — Vivian Lee Sherron, 67, of Wilmington, NC, passed away surrounded by the love of her family on Sunday October 19, 2025.
Vivian was born on September 8, 1958, in Fayetteville, NC. She was the second oldest child of 7 children. Her first love was always her family. She had a tremendous love for the ones closest to her. The one thing she loved just as much as her family was animals. She cared, adored and nurtured many cats and dogs during her lifetime. Plants and nature were also very important to her. Just as she loved to be surrounded by animals, she loved the duties of planting, gardening and cultivating all the flowers, shrubs, herbs, and vegetables she could possess. Having family gatherings and cooking were also her passion.
Vivian is survived by her son Jason Sherron and daughter Hazel Raspet and her husband (Paul). Her sisters Sunday Bruner, Tracy Hancock and Terri Allen. She was very close to her beloved niece Tuesdee Sherron Martinez. She was preceded in death by her parents Johnnie and Mary Sherron. Her brothers Thomas “Tommy” Blanchard, Johnnie Leroy “Roy” Sherron and James “Bug” Sherron.
The Bradford Farm was a family-owned property that meant the world to her. This was a place where she loved to fish and spend summer breaks as a child. Per her wishes, her ashes will be scattered at the pond located there.
Vivian will be remembered for the many lives she touched. She will be forever missed.
