HAMPSTEAD — Nicholas Joel Durdle, 71, of Hampstead, passed away Friday, October 31, 2025, at home.
Nick was born January 28, 1954 in Enid, OK, son of the late Franklin W. Durdle and Mary Canada Durdle.
Nick loved life, family and the outdoors. From spending time on the golf course to fishing and hunting. He often spent time socializing with his neighbors and anyone that he meets.
He is survived by his son, Michael and his wife, Amber Morano; brother, Dennis Durdle; sister, Deborah Johnson; and grandchildren, Paige and Addison.
A funeral service, with military honors, will be held at 10:00AM Friday, November 14, 2025, at Messiah Lutheran Church, 3302 S. College Road, Wilmington, NC 28412, with Pastor Timothy Steele officiating.
