HAMPSTEAD — Frederick Elwood Skipper, Jr., 79,of Hampstead, passed away, October 17, 2025.
He was born August 13, 1946, in Wilmington, NC, to the late Frederick Elwood Skipper, Sr. and Helen Louise Matthews Skipper.
Frederick was a sergeant in the US Air Force and proudly served during the Vietnam War. He retired from General Electric Nuclear.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanne Christine Skipper and sister, Victoria Louise Gage.
Survivors include his brother, Keith Kimberly Skipper; sister, Melanie Skipper Long; son, Jonathan Eric Skipper and wife Ginger Malpass Skipper; granddaughter, Erica Graycen Skipper; grandson, Jacob Westin Skipper; son, Nathan Aaron Skipper and fiancé Gloria Lynn Santana and children, Autumn Mariah Morley, Phoenix Edward Alexander Morley and Aiden James Santana.
A graveside service will be held at 2pm, Friday, October 24, at Sea Lawn Memorial Park in Hampstead.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Disabled Veterans of America.
