LELAND — John (Johnnie) E. Norman III, 72 passed on 9/14/25 in Leland, N.C.
Graduated from Maury High School and continued his education throughout his 42 year career at Naval Operations Base, Norfolk, Va. retiring as the Head Environmental Specialist.
An avid musician, John performed in bands starting in High School and continuing throughout his life. John was a member of The Norview Masonic Lodge and Khedive Shriners where he was a member of The Hillbilly Band. He will be greatly missed as he was a wonderfully devoted family man. He was
preceded in death by his father, John his mother, Evelyn and his brother James (Jimmy) and his son Patrick. He is survived by his wife, Karen, his daughters Jennifer and Brittani and niece Jamie, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
