WILMINGTON — Benjamin (Ben) Evans Brown Jr, 81, of Wilmington, NC died September 26, 2025, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Bronx, NY. He grew up in Indianapolis, IN and Buckeye Lake, Ohio. He resided in Plymouth, Ma for 29 years and retired in Wilmington, NC for 27 years.
Ben proudly served his country as a US Navy Veteran in Boston. Then became a Lt. in the Boston Fire Department for 31 years, and Part time EMT for many years. Beyond his professional achievements he enjoyed hunting, golfing, fishing and boating.
He is survived by his beloved wife Janet Brown and daughters Michelle and Robyn. His Brother Daymond and wife Janice and his sister Maryellen.
