WILMINGTON — Patricia Upchurch Street, aged 82, peacefully departed this life on July 31, 2025, in Wilmington, North Carolina. Born on February 10, 1943, in Richmond, Virginia, she lived a vibrant life of warmth and dedication.
Throughout her life, Patricia was known for her entrepreneurial spirit as the former owner of Pat’s Omelet and Waffle Restaurant. Her earlier professional career included her time at the Roy Rogers Restaurant in Raleigh, where she made many friends and cherished moments.
Patricia’s love for the Lord was profound, and she found great joy in singing hymns of faith that brought comfort to those around her. Her voice and spirit will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, John Roderick and Betsy Cole Roderick; her devoted husband, Raymond Street; and her dear daughter, Tammy Albright.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving children: Nancy Draper and her husband Mark, Ricky Gordon and his wife Susan, and Patty Jo Heath. She is also survived by her seven adoring grandchildren: Joey Upchurch, DJ Heath, Tyler Heath, Kenneth Heath, Steve Woo, Chris Gordon, and Timmy Gordon; along with numerous great-grandchildren who will carry forth her legacy of love and laughter.
Entombment services will be 2:00 PM Thursday August 7, 2025 in North Myrtle Beach Memorial Gardens, North Myrtle Beach, SC.
Pallbearers will be: Joey Upchurch, D J Heath, Tyler Heath, Kenneth Heath, Justin Kiely and TJ West.
