WILMINGTON — Major Rafael L. Verdejo, 93, of Wilmington, NC with grace and dignity passed away July 30, 2025.
He served for 20 years as a pilot in the US Air Force, is a Veteran of the Viet Nam war, and also subsequently retired from New York Life Insurance Company.
Ray is survived by his wife Carolyn and leaves behind a Son and Daughter in Arizona, a Grandson and his wife in Ohio, a Great-Granddaughter, two Great-Grandsons, and two Great-Great-Grandsons in Arizona, a Step-Daughter and Step-Granddaughter of Wilmington.
Ray loved God, his family and his country.
