WILMINGTON — Susan Lynn Robinson, cherished wife, mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2025, in Wilmington, North Carolina. Born on April 19, 1952, in Shaker Heights, Ohio, she was 73 years old at the time of her passing.
Throughout her life, Susan was known for her generous spirit, kindness, and unwavering dedication to her family and community. She spent many fulfilling years affiliated with the Chicago Faucet Company, where her commitment and work ethic shone brightly.
A woman of many passions, Susan deeply enjoyed pickle ball, gardening, and the arts, finding solace and inspiration in ceramics and stained glass. Her green thumb was ever-present as a proud member of the local Garden Club. Susan found great joy in service, frequently volunteering with the Canines For Service and winning “Volunteer of the Year” award.
Susan is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Donald Tiedmond and Jean Neumann also her Step Father, Rodney Neumann. She is survived by her devoted husband of 49 years, Ronald H. Robinson, of their home; her loving son, Brett Besterfeldt, of Wilmington; her brother Greg Tiedmond of Mt. Prospect, Illinois; and her sister, Kim Goss of Palatine, Illinois. Her family, alongside countless friends, will forever cherish her warmth and the beautiful memories she leaves behind.
A celebration of Susan’s life will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 26, 2026, at the Wilmington Funeral Village Road Chapel. Friends and family are invited to join in remembering her remarkable life and bid farewell with love.
