WILMINGTON — Barbara Ann Stallings, born on March 26, 1947, in Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2025, in Wilmington, North Carolina, at the age of 78.
Barbara dedicated many years of her professional life to Custom Wood Products and Coastal Cabinets, where she served with distinction as the Office Manager. Her commitment to her work was only surpassed by her devotion to her beloved husband, treasured fur babies, and cherished friends, all of whom were the light of her life.
She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Clarence Edward Lucy and Mary Magdalene Toler Lucy, and her dear brother, Steve Lucy. Barbara leaves behind her devoted, Frederick “Kit” Stallings, who shared countless memories with her. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Vickie Green of Ozark, Missouri, and her adored fur babies, Abagail and Daisy.
At the request of the family no services will be held.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made in Barbara’s honor to Lower Cape Fear Hospice LifeCare or Friends of Felines, organizations that were close to her heart.
