HAMPSTEAD — William F. Taylor, 89, of Hampstead, North Carolina, passed away on July 12, 2025. Born in Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey,
Bill spent most of his life in New Jersey. He was a proud Navy veteran and spent his career in the electrical business as a salesman for Bryant and Levitton Electric, and later as co-owner of Shore Electric Supply in Lakewood.
A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Bill loved the ocean, golf, boating, and helping his friends and neighbors. He had a soft spot for cats, donuts, and anything cherry-flavored. He will be remembered for his kindness, humor, and unwavering love for his family.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Barbara; his daughters Sandra Gale (Paul) and Lisa Hemberger (John); his grandchildren Robert Hemberger (Briawna), Michael Hemberger, and Brian Gale(Emma); and his great-grandson, Cooper Gale.
Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Gentiva Hospice or the Alzheimer’s Association.
