WILMINGTON — Doris E. Carswell, age 81, of Wilmington, passed away Sunday, June 22, 2025.
A celebration of Ms. Carswell’s life was conducted at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 27, 2025 at St. James A.M.E. Church, 3425 Castle Hayne Road, Castle Hayne, NC 28429.
Her love and memories will remain in the heart of her granddaughter, MaShawn Corbett of Fayetteville, NC; sister, Gloria Jackson of Fayetteville, NC and a host of other relatives and friends.
