WILMINGTON — It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jamie Lee Taylor, 76, who died peacefully on June 16, 2025, in Wilmington, NC. Jamie was born on June 25, 1948, in Newark, NJ.
Jamie was a hardworking, resilient woman who made sure she accomplished her lifelong dream of visiting Alaska in 2019. This memorable trip was shared with her surviving daughters, Colleen Zeigler and Lynette Selert.
She’ll be remembered as a tough-loving lady who, in her younger years, enjoyed putting on performances for her parents with her surviving sister, Monica Kanski. Jamie always had a story to tell and loved watching Hallmark movies and tennis.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and sister, Connie.
Jamie is also survived by her granddaughters; Jessi Zeigler, Samanthalee Greco, and Kimberlee Taylor; and her great-granddaughter, Charli. She’ll be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Jamie, we all love you around the world and back, and we know you’re responding with “Rubber glue back to you.”
There will be a private family ceremony to honor Jamie.
