WILMINGTON — Lorraine Rae VanVekoven, 79, of Wilmington, passed away Monday, May 26, 2025.
She was born July 23, 1945, in Santa Monica, CA, to the late Mary and Vernon Yeend.
Lorraine was raised in Chicago, IL and lived in Wilmington, NC since 1980. She became an Israeli citizen in 2003.
Survivors include her husband, Michael of Wilmington; son Michael of Wilmington; sister, Laverne of Chicago; granddaughters, Stephanie, Ashley and Rebecca and great-grandson, Crue.
A funeral service will be held at 11am, Monday, June 1, at Andrews Market Street Chapel.
The family will receive visitors one hour prior, beginning at 10am.
