WILMINGTON — Greta Russ Arnau Robertson, of Wilmington, NC passed away peacefully on May 19, 2025 at the age of 95.
She was born April 14, 1930 in Wilmington, daughter of the late Frank and Ruth (Horne) Russ.
Greta grew up in Wilmington and later in life she lived in Henderson and Raleigh before returning to Wilmington. She retired, as a supervisor, after 25 years of employment with the United States Postal Service. Greta also enjoyed attending the United Advent Christian Church here in Wilmington.
Greta is survived by her daughter, Rebecca “Becky” Farrar, son and daughter-in-law, William “Bill” Arnau and his wife, Karen, her sister, Catherine Prehn, 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah “Debbie” Berry.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Shipyard Blvd. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 PM at the United Advent Christian Church, 4912 College Rd.
