WILMINGTON – Juan Diego Gonzalez, aged 75, passed away peacefully in Wilmington, North Carolina, on May 2, 2025. Born on January 17, 1950, in New York City, New York, Juan lived a life filled with service, love, and inspiration.
Juan served his country as a Master Sergeant in the U.S. Army Special Forces for 26 years. After retiring from the military, he traveled and worked in executive protection. During his last years, he enjoyed spending time with his family, watching movies, and attending live theatre performances. His love for the arts was not just a pastime but also a testament to his appreciation for history, music, and storytelling.
Juan is survived by his wife, Hatsu; his daughter, Patricia; son-in-law, Tom; and his grandchildren, Skyler, Jai, Mika, Caitlyn, and Brianna.
Services for Juan will be held at a later date.
