WILMINGTON — Jocelyn Suzanne Reiser, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully in Wilmington, NC, on Sunday, May 4th, 2025, at 62.
Born in Kaiserslautern, Germany. Jocelyn, an Army brat, carried with her a spirit of resilience and dedication that touched every chapter of her life. She proudly served her country in the United States Army for five years after graduating from the U.S. Army Military Police School, a foundation that shaped her leadership and commitment to excellence.
Jocelyn later channeled her strengths into a successful career in logistics and transportation. She served as the Terminal Manager at Tidewater Transit in Rocky Point and as General Manager at Net Logistics, LLC, where she was admired for her professionalism, integrity, and steady guidance.
Outside of work, Jocelyn was passionate about golf and found camaraderie and joy as a member of the Wilmington Area Executive Women’s Golf Association. Her sense of humor, loyalty, and compassion made her a treasured friend and a source of strength to those who knew her.
She is survived by her loving parents, Andre and Carey Reiser; her devoted sister, Andrea Orvos; her cherished nephew, Michael Orvos (Oriana), and her dear aunt, Cecelia Butlers; and cousin, Virginia Pizzi. Her legacy of service, strength, and kindness will continue to inspire those who were fortunate to share in her life.
A celebration of life ceremony will be held in the Davis Community Chapel on Saturday, June 7th at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Hospice.
