BURGAW — Arletta Morgan, beloved mother to two children, 69, of Burgaw, N.C, passed away on March 21st in her home, leaving a legacy of always taking care of those who were around her.
She was born in White Hall, Michigan in 1955 to Elzy Wilke and Jackie Finley. Arletta spent most of her childhood in Michigan before moving to Wilmington, N.C. her senior year of High school with her mother and stepfather Lyle Finley. She graduated from Hoggard High School in 1973.
Arletta married Eddie Morgan in 1977 and was a devoted wife of almost 48 years. They owned Robinson Alignment and serviced the downtown Wilmington community for many years. She was a devoted mother to Tiffany and Erica, her pride and joy.
Arletta took special joy in baking, gardening, and creating gifts by hand. She will be remembered for her kindness and generosity.
Arletta is survived by husband Eddie Morgan and daughters Tiffany and Erica Morgan, who will never forget the love she brought to their lives.
A celebration of Arletta’s life will be held at Andrews Mortuary at the Market Street Chapel on March 26th from 4:00-6:00 pm.
