WILMINGTON — Beatrice “Bea” Hall, born Beatrice Pope, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 3, 2025, in Wilmington, North Carolina, at the age of 82.
Beatrice was born on January 17, 1943, in Clinton, North Carolina. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother of four, and great-grandmother of one. Known for her vibrant smile and infectious laugh that could brighten any room, Beatrice was deeply cherished by those who knew her. Her warmth and kindness left a lasting impact on many lives.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Samuel Hall; her parents, Lucille Newman and Theodore Pope; as well as her sisters and brothers.
Beatrice is survived by her daughter, Brigett Comeaux of Wilmington, NC; grandchildren Beyana Gause of Leland, NC; Sharma Ball of Wilmington, NC; Brigett Ball of Kinston, NC; and Jovan Comeaux of New York, NY; great-grandson Adrian Gause of Leland, NC; cousin Barbara Phillips of Nashville, NC; and longtime friend Alberta Kinard of Laurel, MD. She also leaves behind a host of family and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Beatrice’s presence brought joy to those around her, and she will be dearly missed. May her memory bring comfort to all who loved her.
