CAROLINA BEACH — Charles Rayvon Miles, 83, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2025.
Born in Gastonia, he was the son of the late William Edward and Grace Williams Miles.
He is survived by his sons, Jason W. Miles and Damon R. Miles; and his sisters, Carol Sue Crane and Patricia Clewis.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Carl Durant Miles; and siblings, Clyde Miles, Ronnie Miles, Melvin Miles, Oleeta Deeter, Doris Maltba and Genee Owen.
Charles was the owner and operator of CR Miles Textiles and Machinery Parts. When he wasn’t working, he loved to fish and to observe the world from his front porch. He cherished time spent with his family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Charles’ memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
