SURF CITY — Cynthia Prestwood Allen, 63, of Surf City passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Sunday, January 12, 2025. She was born in Wilmington on January 20, 1961 to Larry and Gaynelle Prestwood.
She was preceded in death by her husband Randy Allen.
Cindy loved her son and parents fiercely and had a special place in her heart for all animals, especially her own. She loved laughing and joking around. She was a beach girl to her core.
She is survived by her son, Brandon Hales and wife Kristen, and parents, Larry and Gaynelle Prestwood, all of Wilmington.
A visitation will be held from 10-11am on Saturday, January 18th at Freedom Baptist Church in Wilmington. A Memorial Service will follow with Dodd Mays officiating.
