ROCKY POINT — Dorothy Marie Buell, of Rocky Point, passed away on December 15, 2024.
She was born on December 27, 1950 to Dorothy Evelyn and Robbie Gause in Wilmington, NC.
She loved fishing, watching Gunsmoke, and was a passionate gardener with a green thumb.
Dottie is survived by Robert Goodhall Buell, her husband of 47 years, her four children (Angela Johnson, Deanna Meckley, Jason Yates, Crystal Matthis), sister (Sylvia Gurganious), 12 grandchildren, six great grandchildren, niece and nephews, and her puppy Mindy Lou.
She was preceded in death by her parents (Dorothy Evelyn and Robbie Gause) and her two brothers (Robert Earl and David Allen Gause).
As per Dottie’s request, no formal funeral or memorial service will be held.
