Timothy Wayne Tabor, 64

WILMINGTON — Timothy Wayne Tabor Sr., known affectionately as Tim, passed away on November 1, 2024, at the age of 64, in Wilmington, NC.

Born on April 17, 1960, in Hendersonville, NC, Tim was a man whose heart was as open and expansive as the roads he loved to travel as a truck driver.

Tim was cherished for his wonderful, caring personality and his genuine compassion for others, qualities that endeared him to many. He had a heart of gold, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a moment of kindness.

Tim is survived by his loving son, Tim Tabor Jr. of Leland, NC, and his sister, Rebecca Tabor of Hendersonville, NC. His presence in their lives and the lives of his friends will be deeply missed but fondly remembered. He had a wonderful life with his long-time companion of 16 years, Deborah Harrell, who stood by him till the end.
