WILMINGTON — Sharon Creznic Futch, 82, of Wilmington, passed away on Thursday, October 24th, 2024, at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare in Wilmington surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on August 15th, 1942, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to the late James and Betty (Gross) Creznic.
As a 30-year member of the Al-Anon organization, Sharon cherished the connections in her life. She was a devout grandmother, whose life revolved around her grandchildren. Her warmth even extended to nature as she loved gardening and always being outdoors.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Gregory Hill Futch; her sons, Brent Futch; husband to DeLaine, Regan Futch, and Corey Futch; husband to Denise. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren; Gregory Futch, Bailey Futch (sophomore at the University of South Carolina), Lillie Futch (sophomore at UNC Chapel Hill), and Sarah Futch.
Sharon is also survived by her 3 sisters which she loved dearly; Merrily Jones, Janel Fox, and Janie Miller, wife to Ken.
