WILMINGTON — Jerry Lee Bridgers, born on December 23, 1973, in Wilmington, NC, passed away on October 11, 2024, in Boiling Spring Lakes, NC, at the age of 50.
Jerry was a devoted son, father, and brother. He began his career in construction, where he worked diligently and with integrity. Later, he found his true calling as a counselor, dedicating his life to helping others through drug and addiction rehabilitation. His compassionate nature and commitment to supporting those in need left a lasting impact on many lives.
Jerry is preceded in death by his father, Leo Frank Bridgers. He is survived by his loving mother, Karla Lewis Bridgers; three beloved sons, Brent Bridgers, Brandon Bridgers, and Cody Bridgers; and his brothers, Robert Bridgers, Leo Bridgers, David Bridgers, and Paul Bridgers. He also leaves behind extended family and friends who will cherish his memory.
The family is planning a memorial service to honor Jerry’s life, with details to be announced at a later date. In this time of loss, family and friends find solace in the enduring love and fond memories about Jerry.
