WILMINGTON — Billy Lee Porter, age 57, of Wilmington, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2024.
A public viewing will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Davis Funeral Home, 901 S 5th Ave., Wilmington, NC 28401.
Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
His love and memories will remain in the heart of his fiancée, Wanda Richmond of Wilmington; children, Dominica Clark, Brenae Webb and Kierra Porter all of Wilmington; step-children, Alya Tomer, Lawanda Booker, Jerry Godfrey, Bobby Fulmore, Ealayshia Hamlett, Jaenya Richmond, Heaven Richmond and Jamear Webster all of Wilmington; father, Joe N. McCray, Sr of Wilmington; siblings, Donnie Porter of Kentucky, Mary A. Porter of Wilmington, Joe N. McCray, Jr. (Sherese) of Leland, Stephanie M. McCray of Myrtle Beach, SC, Erica M. Powell (Anthony), Kenneth J. McCray (Erica) and Elliott Tucker (Tamika) all of Wilmington, 11 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.
The Family will receive friends August 29 through 31 (Thursday through Saturday) at the residence of Mrs. Erica M. Powell, 4153 Endurance Trail, Wilmington, NC 28412.
