WILMINGTON — Larry D. “PooPoo” Jacobs, age 67, of Wilmington, passed away on August 8, 2024.
A public viewing will take place from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, August 16, 2024 at Davis Funeral Home, 901 S 5th Ave., Wilmington, NC 28401.
A celebration of Mr. Jacobs’ life will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Davis Funeral Home, 901 S 5th Ave., Wilmington, NC 28401.
Interment will be held at noon on Monday, August 19, 2024 at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
His love and memories will remain in the heart of his wife, Johnnie M. Jacobs of Wilmington; children, DeShawna Wilson, Shameeka Greene and Takeisha Richardson (Justin) all of Wilmington; brothers, Hezekiah Johnson (Barbara) and Freddie Taylor, Jr. both of Wilmington; sister, Lavonda Jacobs Williams (Clayton) of Castle Hayne, eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family is receiving guests at the home of his sister, Lavonda “Cookie” Williams at 211 Heather Ln., Castle Hayne, NC 28429 in the Walnut Hills Subdivision.
