WILMINGTON — Margaret Ann Long, 72, of Wilmington, NC was ushered into the presence of our Lord, Wednesday, July 3, 2024. She was born in Michigan on September 8, 1951.

She was preceded in death by her Father Andrew Jack Davis and Mother Blanche Callahan Davis, both were from Michigan.

God and family were of utmost importance to Ann. She shared a marriage of 53 years with her devoted husband Harry L. Long. Their union was blessed with 2 sons, Chris Long of Wilmington, NC and Jason Long of Huntersville, NC. Ann cherished her role as grandmother, showering love, understanding, comfort, support, many prayers, and Godly advice to Evan Long and Tabitha Lee, of Leland NC, Kensley Long of Wilmington, Olivia Long and Harrison Long of Huntersville NC. She was certainly the glue that held our family together.

She was a collector of people. Always valuing and loving any person she would meet, resulting in many receiving blessings and coming to know Jesus Christ. Ann was a passionate cook, caterer, entrepreneur, seamstress, caretaker, and pizza maker. Serving was her love language and she loved big! She was always helping others as the hand and feet of Jesus. Ann’s legacy will continue to be cherished in the hearts and minds of those fortunate to have known her. Her legacy through her love and devotion to her family will be forever remembered.

As we celebrate Ann’s life, we carry with us her adoration and desire to serve others, her prayer life and steadfast belief in God. Well done good and faithful servant Ann! Your light and example will continue to shine brightly inspiring all.

A memorial service for Ann will be held Saturday, July 6, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Coble Funeral & Cremation Service at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1155 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, North Carolina 28412.
