WILMINGTON — Alayna Vaughn Cunningham, age 24 of Wilmington, NC, passed away much too soon on the 13th of May 2024 at her home in Wilmington.
Alayna was born on February 25, 2000 in Chapel Hill, NC to Jessica Marie and Wyatt Allen Cunningham.
She is preceded in death by her grandfather, whom she had a special and close bond with, Ed Cunningham.
To cherish Alayna’s memory are her parents Jessica and Wyatt Cunningham, her sisters Alexis and Lauren Cunningham, nieces and nephews Louie, Elliana, Nash, and Jayda, and many more extended family members and friends who loved and will miss her dearly.
Alayna’s family will receive visitors on Friday, May 24, 2024 at Wilmington Funeral & Cremation – Wilmington Chapel between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m., with a funeral service to honor her life and legacy to start promptly at 11 a.m., officiated by Life Celebrant Linda Register.
A funeral procession will immediately follow to Greenlawn Memorial Park, where Alayna will be laid to rest in eternal peace.
