BRUNSWICK COUNTY — An Oak Island man has been charged with six counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, according to court documents published on Wednesday.
Mitchell Tyler Moore, 44, is being held without bond at the Brunswick County Jail and is expected to be seen by a judge on Oct. 1 at 2 p.m. at the Brunswick County Courthouse.
Moore was arrested by Oak Island police officers on Sept. 30, with assistance from the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation, after receiving a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. As reported by WECT, Moore was arrested for the possession and duplication of explicit photos of a minor.
