WILMINGTON — Kristy Mays Marshall of Charlotte, NC passed away on March 29, 2024, at the age of 54 in her hometown of Wilmington, North Carolina. Born on February 13, 1970, Kristy was a free spirit who lived life to the fullest.
She found solace in the skies while skydiving. Her adventurous spirit and love will live on in those who knew and loved her.
Kristy is survived by her loving mother, Wanda Hanchey Mays; husband, Douglas Marshall; son, Cameron Marshall; brother, Dodd Mays, and his wife, Whitnee; and sister, Nancy Bentley, along with several nieces and nephews and her sweet pets, Lucy and Percy. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Dodd Mays, Sr.
A celebration of Kristy’s life will be held on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Wilmington Funeral & Cremation Chapel, where Reverend Dodd Mays will officiate. Following the service, there will be a time of visitation at the funeral home.
