LELAND — Sallye Lea Neizmik, age 76, of Leland, NC passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on November 24, 1947 in Warren County, PA to the late Leo Strasbaugh and Ruth McCauley Strasbaugh.
Sallye was the life and best friend of her beloved husband, Daniel. They enjoyed the beach, working in their yard, and going for rides in their convertible on sunny days. Sallye was always supportive, encouraging and an inspiration for her children to excel in their lives. She had a great sense of humor and a sharp wit. Sallye was a loving wife, mother, sister, and neighbor. She was loved by all that knew her, and she will be dearly missed.
Sallye is survived by her husband of 52 years, Daniel Neizmik; son, Adam Daniel Neizmik and wife, Gabby; daughter, Allison Lea Williams and husband, Lee; and sister, Pat Uber.
In addition to her parents, Sallye was also preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Patch.
