BURGAW — Cecil Jay Reamer, age 70, of Burgaw and formerly of Virginia passed from his earthly life on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at The Laurels of Pender.
He was born January 16, 1954 in Farmville, Virginia, the son of Robert James Reamer and Thelma Griles Reamer. In addition to his parents, Cecil was preceded in death by his son, Bobby Jackson; sister, Regina Reamer; and brothers, Jerry Reamer and James Reamer.
Cecil enjoyed watching sports on TV especially football games. It is duly noted that Nutty Buddies were a favorite snack that Cecil truly loved. Cecil loved his special friends in Burgaw, and he appreciated all the care that they gave to him.
