HAMPSTEAD — James L. Lennon, age 79, of Hampstead, passed away Saturday, January 20, 2024.
A celebration of Mr. Lennon’s life will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 2, 2024 at Williams Love Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 110 Williams Love Grove Church Rd., Hampstead, NC 28443. A viewing will be held one (1) hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow at Williams Love Grove Church Cemetery.
His love and memories will remain in the heart of his wife, Thelma Lennon of the home; children, Janulyn Lennon of Atlanta, GA, Derrick Milligan of Baltimore, MD, Danita Buie of Hampstead, Wardell Buie, Jr. (Kasara) of Wilmington; siblings, Etta Juanita Jackson of Randallstown, MD, Brenda Joyce Hyde of Denver, CO, Sadie Pamela Black of Hampstead, Lawrence Edward Lennon (Rena) of Wilmington, Margaret Ann Lennon of Randallstown, MD; 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
