SOUTHPORT — Brian Scott Tow, 59, of Southport, NC (Boiling Spring Lakes) passed away peacefully on Friday, January 26, 2024, in the Lower Cape Fear Life Care Center, Bolivia, NC with family at his side.
Born in Jasper, IN, on February 28, 1964, Brian was one of three children born to Sharon (Bauer) Henry and the late Carl Ronald “Ronnie” Tow. Brian was also preceded in death by his stepfather, William Max Henry; and grandparents, Theodore “Ted” and Lenora (Dickman) Bauer and Vergil and Alma Ruth (Jones) Tow.
Brian retired from Corning Optical Fiber Plant of Wilmington, NC. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing golf, as well as digging for Civil War artifacts. He also loved spending time with his family and friends.
Surviving are his mother, Sharon Henry of Winnabow, NC; his beloved wife of 32 years, Donna (Hunt) Tow; three sons, Jesse Tow, Cody Tow, and Nathan Tow, all of Boiling Springs Lake; three brothers, Ron Tow, Shane Tow (Sondra), Pat Henry, all of North Carolina; three sisters, Ronetta Bough (Randy), Tashina Blubaugh (Dann), Ashley Tow, all of Indiana; brother-in-law, Cecil Hunt (Tommie Ann), of North Carolina; as well as 42 nieces and nephews.
