WILMINGTON — Sheila Ann Earp, lovingly known as Sheila, bid farewell to the world on December 31, 2023. Born on April 30, 1968, in Caldwall County, NC, she lived a life that was filled with warmth, laughter, and creativity. Sheila passed away at the age of 55 in Wilmington, NC, due to natural causes.
During her time on this Earth, Sheila made an impact both professionally and personally. She dedicated herself to helping others as an Employment Coordinator for Goodwill Industries. Sheila’s passion for assisting those in need shone brightly in her work, and her caring nature touched the lives of many.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Sheila had a zest for life that was contagious. Her interests included cooking up delicious meals and crafting beautiful creations. Whether it was in the kitchen or at her craft table, Sheila’s creative spirit brought joy to those around her.
In this difficult time, we find solace in the memories of Sheila and the love she shared with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Rufus Arnold Earp and Wilma Jean Hollars Earp. Sheila leaves behind cherished memories in the hearts of her brothers, Scott Earp and Steve Earp, and her nephew, Michael Earp.
To honor Sheila’s life and legacy, a memorial service will be planned for a later date in her hometown of Boone, NC. It will be a time for her loved ones to gather, remember, and celebrate the vibrant spirit that Sheila brought into their lives.
