WILMINGTON — Linda Leitch entered Heaven on July 18, 2023 at Lower Cape Fear Life Care.
Throughout her life she contributed so much to her community. For well over 20 years she was the Kitchen Director at Good Shepherd Ministries making many life long friends of volunteers and clients. After retirement she volunteered at the Salvation Army Store keeping the book section in tip top shape. She was there for over 9 years.
She is survived by her three sons, Alan, Eric and Warren Knowles, grandchildren Emma Grace and Cooper, her sister Vicki Alpern Scott and brother-in-law John V. Scott, nephew Jeff Scott and wife Anne and their children Hazel, Hampton and Della Scott.

This is the beginning of a new day.
God has given me this day to use as I will.
I can waste it or use it for good,
but what I do today is important
When tomorrow comes, this day will be gone forever,
leaving in its place something that I have traded for it.
I want it to be gain and not loss; good and not evil;
success and not failure; in order that I shall not regret the price I have paid for it.
