She was very proud of all her family and was very much loved by them. She had such a sweet soul and was always doing for others. A very important part of Jessna’s life was going to church, singing in the choir and having a strong relationship with Jesus Christ! She lived a very full life as a faithful servant and a Godly role model for us all.

She grew up on a farm and loved her home very much. After graduating from high school, she moved to Washington, DC, where she met her husband, Lloyd, and worked for the US Army as an administrative Assistant. She worked for several years until they started a family. Later, due to Lloyd’s job, they lived in Charleston, Virginia Beach and retired to Wilmington in 1994.

Over the years, Jessna was a devoted wife, and mother and was very involved in her children and grandchildren’s lives. She loved to watch their sporting events and other activities. Jessna loved to play tennis, golf and watching the UNC Tarheels basketball team play. She was a basketball player in her youth and once scored 40 points In one game her senior years. She loved to play Rummikub, Sequence and listening to music. She will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts.

A special thanks to Gloria Fullwood, Debbie Huston and Suzanne Marney for all the love and care you gave Jessna. She was so blessed by their friendships.
