WILMINGTON — Deacon Moses L. Holmes, age 80, of Wilmington, passed away Monday, October 24, 2022.
Public viewing 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Davis Funeral Home, 901 S 5th Ave., Wilmington, NC 28401.
A celebration of Deacon Holmes’ life will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 30, 2022 at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 4925 New Centre Dr., Wilmington, NC 28403.
Interment will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, October 31, 2022 at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
His love and memories will remain in the heart of his wife, Mattie Remel Holmes of the home; children, Anecia Holmes McCoy of Wilmington, Ray Steven Holmes (Monique) of Raleigh and Sabrina Holmes Smith (Rodney) of Cary; siblings, Mae Lee Wilson of Columbia, SC, Willie Franklin Holmes, Sandra Roland (Linwood) and Wanda Holmes Armstrong (Earl) all of Wilmington, eight grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
