LELAND — John W. Jacobs, age 100, of Leland, passed away Friday, October 21, 2022.
Public viewing will be 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, October 28, 2022 at Davis Funeral Home, 901 S 5th Ave., Wilmington, NC 28401.
A celebration of Mr. Jacobs life will be conducted at noon on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Hoopers’ Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 3627 Dogwood Rd. NE, Leland, NC 28451.
Interment will follow at Hoopers’ Cemetery.
His love and memories will remain in the heart of his wife, Mildred Jacobs of the home; children, Minnie Holliday of Leland, Richard Jacobs (Gloria) and Harvie Jacobs (Juanita) both of Wilmington, Rev. Martha Jacobs, Ella Jacobs, and Yvonne Mosley (Oscar) all of Leland, 19 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, 30 great-great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-great-grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.
